A New Project Coming in Oshawa!

Design Works has been awarded the Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy Modelling scope for a new residential development in Oshawa, Ontario.

Design Works Engineering is pleased to share that we’ve been awarded the Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy Modelling scope for a new residential development at 20 & 24 Beatrice Street West in Oshawa, Ontario, led by Build Up Development Co.

‍Situated on a 0.936-acre site, the project includes:
• A 16,977 sq. ft. 3-storey apartment block with 20 units
• An 8,824 sq. ft. semi-detached block featuring 6 three-storey dwelling units

This project represents thoughtful, much-needed infill growth for the area—bringing modern, efficient housing options to a community that continues to evolve. We’re excited to support Build Up Development Co. with services in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, as well as Energy Modelling.

By integrating mechanical and electrical design with early energy performance insights, we help project partners reduce uncertainty, streamline coordination, and enhance long-term building efficiency.

We look forward to working closely with Build Up Development Co. to bring this development to life and contribute to Oshawa’s continued residential growth.
