South Montrose Concourse
Project Description
The South Montrose Concourse is an impressive architectural feature covering an area of 30 meters by 180 meters, designed to seamlessly connect key civic landmarks in Grande Prairie. Spanning the entire South Montrose site, the concourse links City Hall on the east side with the Centre for Creative Arts on the west, creating a unified public space that encourages movement, gathering, and community interaction.
This thoughtfully designed structure enhances pedestrian connectivity across the site, providing a functional, aesthetically appealing corridor that supports civic engagement, public events, and cultural exchange. The concourse integrates durable materials, weather protection features, and efficient lighting and mechanical systems to ensure long-term usability and performance, reinforcing its role as a vital connector within the city’s urban fabric.
