For this week's team spotlight, we would like to introduce you to Samihah!
Samihah is our Civil E.I.T and has been at Design Works since 2019. She has gained the majority of her practical and technical skills for civil design from her current role. She brings with her previous management and customer service experience, assisting her in coordinating and communicating with integral stakeholders for each project. She is working towards obtaining her P.eng by the end of 2023.
Samihah believes that open communication and a strong team dynamic are highly important in fostering a friendly work environment. Other values she incorporates in her work include organization, helping team members, meeting deadlines in an efficient & concise manner, as well as creating practical & clear civil designs.
During her free time, she loves to bake desserts, play volleyball with the ESSC, and try new activities or food spots with friends.
