For our next team spotlight, say hello to Qasim Akhtar!
Qasim is our Electrical E.I.T. and has been with Design Works for the past two years. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Product Development Engineer and obtained experience with electrical design for medical devices, headwalls and footwalls. He is skilled in compliances for all NEC, NFPA, ISO and IEEE standards and codes. He also carries with him experience in project management.
In his work, Qasim enjoys designing efficient electrical distribution systems. However, the most important thing to him is client relationships and ensuring smooth transitions between different milestones of the project.
Qasim is a car enthusiast and in his free time, enjoys working on his project car. He also likes to play basketball, cook, and travel!
