Town of St. Brieux – Water Treatment Plant
The Town of St. Brieux has taken a major step toward enhancing its water infrastructure with the construction of a new water treatment plant. This state-of-the-art facility includes a below-grade concrete reservoir with a capacity of 430m³, along with wastewater and backwash tanks.
Above the reservoir, a 208m² structural slab was installed and topped with a wood-framed building that houses advanced water treatment technologies. Inside, the plant features a biofiltration treatment system, a membrane treatment unit, process pumps, and chemical and electrical systems, all designed to ensure high-quality water treatment for the town. Additionally, new underground services were connected to the existing infrastructure, and improvements were made to the well pumps, further enhancing the town's water supply system.
Walker Projects Inc. (WPI), a division of MBC Group, provided essential project management and civil engineering expertise, ensuring the seamless integration of modern treatment technology into the town’s water infrastructure.
