Ponoka Residential
Project Description
This residential development in Ponoka, Alberta, features comprehensive civil engineering to support sustainable neighborhood expansion. The scope includes onsite infrastructure for Building 1—featuring site grading that harmonizes with existing perimeter grades, utility servicing, and stormwater management through roof storage and surface ponding—designed in full compliance with Town of Ponoka standards.
A key component is the ~145-metre extension of 62 Avenue between 50A Street and 50 Street, complete with roadway grading, curb-and-gutter systems, sidewalks, and a right-in/right-out access point. The offsite work also extends water, sanitary, and storm services from existing municipal stubs into the new roadway, with service stubs provided to adjacent lots and coordination of shallow utilities including gas, electrical, and telecommunications infrastructure.
By integrating seamless connections to existing public systems and prioritizing responsible stormwater handling, this project lays the groundwork for a well-serviced, accessible residential community that grows thoughtfully within Ponoka's established landscape.
