Located at 950 Westminster Ave in Penticton, the Comfort Inn & Suites project is transforming a well-known city landmark into a modern hospitality destination. Originally built in the 1960s as the Skiers Motel Hotel, the property is being revitalized by Gill Hotels with design by Bluegreen Architecture and construction by Ikleen Construction.

Design Works Engineering is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, energy modelling, and fire protection services for this ambitious expansion. The redevelopment includes a 6-storey addition that increases the hotel’s capacity from 36 to 88 rooms, while aligning with Penticton’s North Gateway Redevelopment and Investment Strategy. The project strengthens local economic activity, enhances visitor amenities, and rejuvenates a unique city landmark for the future.
