Michael Lazaruk brings over 40 years of experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to Design Works Engineering, with deep expertise across municipal, civil, land development, transportation, and aviation infrastructure projects.

Throughout his career, Michael has worked on complex projects ranging from large-scale residential subdivisions and commercial developments to major roadway rehabilitation programs, water and sewer infrastructure, and airport runway and taxiway systems. His background includes extensive work on high-profile aviation projects at major international airports, as well as long-term municipal programs supporting growing communities across Western Canada.

At Design Works Engineering, Michael plays a key leadership role in CAD standards development, quality control, and staff training, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across all civil and municipal deliverables. He is highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation, with a strong ability to integrate survey data, manage complex datasets, and produce clear, constructible drawings that support successful project delivery.
