Design Works Engineering is growing, and weโ€™re looking for Structural Engineers-in-Training (E.I.T.) to join our teams in Edmonton and Calgary.

This role is about more than drafting drawingsโ€”itโ€™s about being part of projects from concept to construction. Youโ€™ll collect client and project information, prepare designs and drawings, use AutoCAD and Revit, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants. Youโ€™ll also visit job sites to see your work take shape and complete construction reviews.

๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ช๐—ฒโ€™๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in structural engineering (Masterโ€™s an asset)
โ€ข Registration as an E.I.T. with APEGA
โ€ข 2โ€“5 years of experience, ideally in multi-family residential projects
โ€ข Knowledge of wood, steel, and concrete design (ETABS/SAFE is an asset)
โ€ข Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
โ€ข Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset
