For our next team spotlight, meet Ghassan!
Ghassan is our Mechanical E.I.T. who brings extensive construction and project coordination experience to Design Works. This experience includes facilitating and coordinating oil & gas projects (such as construction of new pipelines and assisting in refinery shutdowns), managing project schedules & costs, and utilizing SAP business intelligence reports. As well, he has also maintained relationships with project owners, managers, & subcontractors, completed reviews of project specs & drawings, and developed fundamental engineering skills such as problem solving and attention to detail. Ghassan obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta.
Ghassan believes his previous experience has helped further grow his skills in project management, particularly in the commercial sector. As well, his success in his role at Design Works is driven by his positive and productive communications with clients directly from project kick-off to the construction stage. His most important work values are teamwork, problem solving, and a strong work ethic.
During his free time, Ghassan enjoys spending quality time with his wife Jessica & newborn Rana, playing sports, and camping.
