Design Works Engineering delivered MEP, fire protection, and energy modelling for Ksana—a 187-unit residential development in Port Moody featuring retail, childcare, and amenities designed for sustainable, connected urban living.

We're proud to showcase Ksana, a thoughtfully designed residential development located in the heart of Port Moody, British Columbia.
This project consists of two six-storey wood-frame buildings comprising 187 modern, family-friendly residential units, ranging from one- to three-bedroom homes. Designed with community, comfort, and long-term livability in mind, Ksana blends contemporary architecture with a highly connected urban lifestyle.
Design Works Engineering provided Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection Engineering, and Energy Modelling services, supporting a design that prioritizes sustainability, efficiency, and occupant comfort, while meeting and exceeding current building standards.
The development also includes:• Over 9,000 sq. ft. of retail space• A 4,923 sq. ft. childcare facility• A three-level underground parkade with 304 vehicle stalls and 327 bicycle spaces• Resident amenities such as co-working areas, wellness rooms, entertainment lounges, and landscaped rooftop terraces
Strategically located at 3101 St. Johns Street and 3112 St. George Street, Ksana offers excellent access to Moody Centre SkyTrain Station, parks, schools, and Port Moody's vibrant cultural and recreational amenities.
