On this day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of those who served — and continue to serve — in defence of our freedom.

On this day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of those who served — and continue to serve — in defence of our freedom.

Since the end of the First World War, Canadians have gathered on November 11 to reflect on the cost of peace and the resilience of those who fought for it. From the battlefields of Europe to missions around the world, their service shaped the country we live in today.

At 1100 hours, we observe a moment of silence to honour their memory.

Lest we forget.
