The more perspectives you bring together, the stronger the solutions become.

When I started Design Works, I knew I didn’t want us tied to just one market. Engineering isn’t local — it’s global. The more perspectives you bring together, the stronger the solutions become.

Early on, we saw that no two projects are the same. What works in Edmonton doesn’t always work in Toronto, and what works in Toronto doesn’t always work in Vancouver. Instead of seeing that as a challenge, we saw it as an opportunity.

That’s why we’ve expanded across Canada, the U.S., and the Philippines. Each office adds new experience, new ideas, and new perspectives — and we bring those lessons forward to benefit every client, no matter where their project is located.

Being geographically diverse was never about growth for growth’s sake. It was about building a company that could adapt, innovate, and deliver smarter solutions.

That vision has guided us for the past 10 years — and it’s what excites me about the next 10.
