Concrete is officially poured at West Pointe Apartments in Grande Prairie.

Concrete is officially poured at West Pointe Apartments in Grande Prairie — a major milestone for a project that is bringing new housing options to one of Alberta’s fastest-growing regions.

This six-storey development from APG Property Group and Planworks Architecture will introduce 166 modern apartment units, supported by main-floor parking. With no underground parking required, the design balances efficiency with accessibility — making the most of its location and footprint.

At Design Works Engineering, our multidisciplinary team is proud to be behind the project’s success. We’re providing:

• Civil engineering for site grading, servicing, and stormwater management
• Structural solutions supporting the six-storey design
• Mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing
• Electrical systems for power, lighting, communication, and security
• Fire Protection and Energy Modelling for safety and sustainability

From detailed drawings to contract administration, we’re ensuring every discipline works seamlessly together — helping West Pointe Apartments rise from vision to reality.
